Reasons Why Your Headphone Jack is Disappearing

You may have started to notice that all the smartphone brands are releasing new smartphones in the market with no headphone jack.

Here is why

In order to make smartphones thinner, brands have started to remove the headphone jacks as they cover too much space and add to the thickness of the phone.

Bluetooth enabled wireless headsets did not had much attention a few years ago. so by removing the headphone jack consumer is left with no choice but to purchase a wireless headset. Which in turn benefits the companies as their total profit is also increased.

Take for example a popular brand apple did provide headphone jacks approximately till 2018 but after that they too started to manufacture smartphones without headphone jacks why?

Well today Apple Airpods Max (apples own so called premium wireless headphones) cost more than an iphone 12 and people buy such devices. No wonder why they started doing this.

Smartphone brands call it innovation. They believe wireless headsets are more convenient than the wired headsets. Which of course is true, but it should be left completely to the consumer
to decide what really is convenient for him and what isn't.
